Mission
The club seeks to promote the concept of practical knowledge for the industry that demands making dream a reality. It provides a forum for the cross pollination of ideas, views and innovation. Our mission is the advancement of humanity, mobility awareness and solutions. As SAE is the market leader in linking and educating professionals to ensure that mobility solutions are secure, clean, and accessible, SAE IET thrives to fulfill the same.
About SAE
SAE India collegiate chapter of IET Lucknow was conceived in 2015 with an idea to integrate the students at the college level to automobile industry. It is from scratch that we design and fabricate a formula style car every year to concour numerous events. The team comprises of students from all years and branches. With an hands on approach and a tangible learning experience, the club promise to deliver only the best at each step.
Membership
For owning the membership of SAE IET LUCKNOW one goes through following stages
Stage one comprises of a 3-4 week introductory session where the basics of automobile are taught.
Stage two is where the candidates appear for an Objective or Subjective test based on the held workshop.
The third and final screening stage is where the students shortlisted, on the basis of their knowledge in the field, are called for a personal interview session.
