Delhi-NCR Chapter Meet July 2023

July 29th, 2023, is a date etched in my memory, a day I’d love to revisit. I can’t recall a day more special than the gathering on July 29, 2023. Although it began as an ordinary night, the stars seemed to shine brighter that day. Due to time constraints, I couldn’t personally reach out to all the alumni for ice-breaking, yet I felt like I was in a different world altogether, surrounded by the cherished IET Family, comprising of esteemed elders and affectionate youngsters, spanning from the first batch to the most recent juniors of 2020.

What I anticipated to be a gathering of at most 20 alumni turned out unexpectedly to be over 50. This delightful surprise was all thanks to our stalwart Navin Sir, the president of IETLAA, who guided us in every step of the preparation and planning. It was solely through his support that this splendid event successfully unfolded.

For the first time, as someone predominantly introvert, I felt immensely blessed to be a part of such a illustrious assembly, hoping that time would momentarily stand still. Although the sky had clouds, yet even nature seemed to pay tribute to the remarkable achievements of the alumni gathered.

We had representatives from diverse sectors, ranging from private to government, entrepreneurs to administrators, joint secretaries, personal secretary, and even a political influencer. We were treated with live performance of Shobit Sir, a talent we’d previously admired on YouTube.

I’m sure that everyone took some cherished memories from this grand evening. On behalf of the IET-NCR alumni co-coordinators, Jitesh Srivastava and Vineet Singh, I extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shivam for orchestrating the surprise lucky draw for five individuals, bringing a fitting conclusion to our meetup.
