Please vote to accept the changes to constitution discussed today as below:
Annual Membership has been done away with.
Every Alumni registered on IETHUB shall be treated as a Regular Member of the Association. He/She shall have a right to participate in the proceedings and to be heard. Though such member shall not have right to vote or participate in the elections of IETLAA.
Only those members who have registered as Lifetime Members shall have the right to vote and right to contest, others shall be sounding boards in the proceedings of IETLAA.
No change in the status of Star Members
Period of suspension of a member by Executive Committee limited to two months only
Any suspension more than two months shall require approval of the Advisory Committee
The member must be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard and provide an explanation
The reasons for rejection of the member’s explanation must be recorded and sent to the Advisory Committee for final clearance
